Cohiba Prices in Morocco: The Official Price of Every Vitola
By the CIGARA house, published , updated

Cohiba occupies the entire summit of Morocco’s official price list, in force since 1 April 2026, on its own: 32 approved cigars, from the Panetelas at 330 DH to the Behike BHK 56 at 2,800 DH, with no other house slotting into the top of the tariff. That is the price of Cuba’s flagship brand — born in 1966 in the El Laguito workshop, reserved for diplomatic gifts before going on sale in 1982. Here is its complete Moroccan range, line by line, per stick, per box and in tubes; for every other brand, see our guide to cigar prices in Morocco.
What “official price” means here
In Morocco, the price of a Cohiba is not negotiated: it is set by decree, published by customs circular and identical across the official channel, from Rabat to Marrakech. One detail that matters this year: the wave of increases of 1 April 2026 raised nearly half the cigar list, but spared the entire Cohiba range — the prices below date from the January overhaul, and our full price list sets the brand among the other houses, and our Montecristo and Davidoff guides give the other two brand lists. All prices are per stick, which you can buy as such at the counter.
The Línea Clásica, the historic backbone
The founding line, with vitolas born between 1966 and 1989:
| Vitola | Per stick | Box |
|---|---|---|
| Panetelas | 330 DH | 25 |
| Exquisitos | 420 DH | 25 |
| Coronas Especiales | 740 DH | 25 |
| Robustos | 800 DH | 25 |
| Lanceros | 920 DH | 25 |
| Esplendidos | 1,300 DH | 25 |
Two landmarks: the Panetelas is the brand’s entry point on the cigar side, short and slim; the Esplendidos, a julieta of nearly 18 centimetres, remains the most famous Cohiba — and the most copied. The Lanceros, long and narrow, is the house’s historic vitola; the Robustos, its signature format.
The 1492 line: the six Siglos
Created for the 500th anniversary of Columbus’s crossing, the 1492 line climbs steadily from Siglo I to Siglo VI:
| Vitola | Per stick | In tubes (case of 15) |
|---|---|---|
| Siglo I | 400 DH | 450 DH |
| Siglo II | 500 DH | 550 DH |
| Siglo III | 700 DH | 750 DH |
| Siglo IV | 850 DH | 900 DH |
| Siglo V | 950 DH | 1,000 DH |
| Siglo VI | 1,100 DH | 1,200 DH |
The progression reads easily: each Siglo gains in girth and length, and the tariff follows in steps of 100 to 200 DH. The Siglo I at 400 DH is the classic initiation vitola; the Siglo VI, a generous cañonazo, the regulars’ favourite. The tubed version — the aluminium tube, sold in cases of 15 — costs 50 to 100 DH more per stick and protects the cigar on the move, a real argument under the Moroccan climate.
Maduro 5, Medio Siglo, Talisman: the recent lines
| Vitola | Line | Per stick | Box |
|---|---|---|---|
| Secretos | Maduro 5 | 420 DH | 10 or 25 |
| Medio Siglo | — | 750 DH | 25 |
| Magico | Maduro 5 | 900 DH | 10 or 25 |
| Genios | Maduro 5 | 1,000 DH | 10 or 25 |
| Talisman (2017 edition) | Limited edition | 620 DH | 10 |
| Piramides Extra | — | 1,300 DH | 10 (tube: 1,500 DH, case of 15) |
The Maduro 5 line dresses its vitolas in a wrapper aged five years, darker and sweeter; the Medio Siglo, born for the brand’s 50th anniversary, distils the fashionable short-and-thick format. The Talisman 2017 is the list’s curiosity: a limited edition still approved at 620 DH.
Behike: the summit of the summit
| Vitola | Per stick | The box of 10 |
|---|---|---|
| Behike BHK 52 | 2,000 DH | 20,000 DH |
| Behike BHK 54 | 2,500 DH | 25,000 DH |
| Behike BHK 56 | 2,800 DH | 28,000 DH |
The three Behikes — the number gives the ring gauge — are the most expensive cigars on the Moroccan list, all brands included. At this level a box of 10 costs as much as a scooter, and buying by the stick makes full sense: Morocco’s list allows it, which many markets do not.
The box of 10, in round figures
The list is quoted per stick; for those who think in boxes, here are the references sold by 10:
| Reference | Per stick | The box of 10 |
|---|---|---|
| Secretos | 420 DH | 4,200 DH |
| Talisman 2017 | 620 DH | 6,200 DH |
| Magico | 900 DH | 9,000 DH |
| Genios | 1,000 DH | 10,000 DH |
| Piramides Extra | 1,300 DH | 13,000 DH |
| Behike BHK 52 | 2,000 DH | 20,000 DH |
| Behike BHK 54 | 2,500 DH | 25,000 DH |
| Behike BHK 56 | 2,800 DH | 28,000 DH |
For the classics in boxes of 25, count on 10,000 DH of Siglo I, 20,000 DH of Robustos, 32,500 DH of Esplendidos. An opened box keeps: our guides to choosing a humidor and to humidity stop such a purchase from drying out.
Starting Cohiba at 16 DH
The brand also has its small format, and it is the cheapest way in:
| Reference | Packet | Price | Apiece |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cohiba Mini (and White Mini) | 10 | 160 DH | 16 DH |
| Cohiba Club (and White Club) | 10 | 180 DH | 18 DH |
| Cohiba Short | 5 or 10 | 140 / 280 DH | 28 DH |
| Cohiba Wide Short | 6 | 300 DH | 50 DH |
A Cohiba Mini at 16 DH against a Panetelas at 330 DH: twenty times less for the same band, while you learn the gestures. Our guide to cigarillos details what the small format offers — and what it does not replace.
Where to find them in Morocco
In the five official Habanos counters — the Casa del Habano in Casablanca (two), in Rabat and in Marrakech, and the Habanos Especialist at M Avenue — supplied by the exclusive distributor of Havanas in Morocco, and at approved resellers for the common references. That distributor has a name: Altadis Maroc, the Société marocaine des tabacs — the former Régie des tabacs, part of the Imperial Brands group since 2008 — which Habanos S.A. names as its exclusive distributor for the kingdom: it imports every box of Cohiba sold legally in Morocco and runs the Casa del Habano network. The Behikes and the editions are asked for at the counter, and sometimes waited for: stocks are erratic, call before you make the trip. Our guide to where to buy covers the channel city by city.
One last word that doubles as a guarantee: Cohiba is the most copied brand in the cigar world, and the administered list is your best fake detector. An Esplendidos at 600 DH, a Robustos “on offer” at half the tariff: that is never a bargain, it is a counterfeit. At the official price, at the official counter — that is the whole rule, and it fits on one line.
Frequently asked questions
- How much does a Cohiba cost in Morocco?
- From 330 DH to 2,800 DH per stick, at the administered tariff in force. The Panetelas opens the range at 330 DH, the Siglo I follows at 400 DH, the Robustos sits at 800 DH, the Esplendidos at 1,300 DH, and the Behike line closes it: 2,000 DH for the BHK 52, 2,500 DH for the BHK 54, 2,800 DH for the BHK 56. These prices date from the January 2026 overhaul: the April wave of increases raised nearly half the list, but left Cohiba untouched.
- How much does a box of Cohiba cost in Morocco?
- The list quotes prices per stick; the box is a matter of multiplication. In boxes of 10: Secretos 4,200 DH, Magico 9,000 DH, Genios 10,000 DH, Piramides Extra 13,000 DH, Behike BHK 52 20,000 DH, BHK 54 25,000 DH, BHK 56 28,000 DH. In boxes of 25: Siglo I 10,000 DH, Robustos 20,000 DH, Esplendidos 32,500 DH. Tubed vitolas are sold in cases of 15, from the Siglo I at 6,750 DH to the Piramides Extra at 22,500 DH.
- Which Cohiba should you start with?
- With the small format: a Cohiba Mini comes to 16 DH apiece and a Club to 18 DH, enough to get to know the house's flavour without committing an evening or a banknote. On the cigar side, the logical entry is the Panetelas at 330 DH — short and slim — then the Siglo I at 400 DH, the classic initiation vitola of the 1492 line. The Robustos at 800 DH can wait until the gestures are second nature: it is the brand's signature format, not its stepping stone.
- How do you avoid fake Cohibas in Morocco?
- By the price and by the channel. Prices are administered: identical in the five official Habanos counters (four Casa del Habano and one Habanos Especialist) and at approved resellers, with no discount possible. A Cohiba offered well below the list — a Robustos at 400 DH, an Esplendidos at 600 DH — is not a bargain, it is a counterfeit, and Cohiba is the most copied brand in the cigar world. Buy at the official counter, never online or 'by courier': there is no legal online sale of cigars in Morocco.
