Davidoff in Morocco: The Official Price of Every Vitola
By the CIGARA house, published , updated

Davidoff is the only non-Cuban house that carries any weight in Morocco: 95 references approved on the price list, from the Exquisitos at 69 DH to the Royal Release at 17,800 DH a box of ten, more lines than Montecristo and Cohiba combined. That is the legacy of Zino Davidoff, the Geneva merchant who sold Havanas for half a century before having his own cigars rolled in the Dominican Republic from 1990. Here is its complete Moroccan range, per stick, in cases, in boxes and in cigarillos, along with Camacho and Zino, the two other brands of the channel.
What “official price” means here
In Morocco, the price of a Davidoff is not negotiated: it is set by decree, published by customs circular and identical across the official channel. Two particularities set the brand apart on the list. First, it is sold under two regimes: 23 cigars approved per stick, like the Havanas, and 67 references approved per case or per box, for which the list gives only an overall price. Second, the wave of increases of 1 April 2026, which spared the entire Cohiba range, hit 40 Davidoff references: +2 to +6% on the everyday cigars and boxes, +13% on the Escurio Mini, +22% on the Club Cigarillos. The prices below are those in force; our full list of cigar prices in Morocco sets the house among the others.
Cigars per stick: from 69 to 600 DH
The vitolas you buy one at a time at the counter, from the mildest to the fullest:
| Vitola | Line | Per stick | Box |
|---|---|---|---|
| Exquisitos | Classic | 69 DH | 10 |
| Primeros | Classic | 95 DH | 6 |
| Primeros Nicaragua | Nicaragua | 99 DH | 6 |
| Grand Cru No. 5 | Grand Cru | 200 DH | 5 |
| Nicaragua Short Corona | Nicaragua | 205 DH | 5 |
| 2000 | Classic | 240 DH | 5 or 10 |
| Grand Cru No. 3 | Grand Cru | 270 DH | 5 |
| Grand Cru No. 2 | Grand Cru | 300 DH | 5 |
| Millennium Short Robusto | Millennium | 310 DH | 4 |
| 6000 | Classic | 325 DH | 4 |
| Short Perfecto | Classic | 335 DH | 4 |
| No. 2 | Classic | 340 DH | 5 |
| Nicaragua Robusto (tube) | Nicaragua | 345 DH | 4 |
| Millennium Robusto | Millennium | 360 DH | 4 or 25 |
| Nicaragua Toro | Nicaragua | 369 DH | 4 |
| Special R | Classic | 370 DH | 4 or 25 |
| Millennium Toro | Millennium | 435 DH | 4 |
| Millennium Piramides | Millennium | 455 DH | 4 |
| Aniversario No. 3 (tube) | Aniversario | 475 DH | 3 |
| Double R | Classic | 600 DH | 10 |
Three landmarks to find your way. The Classic line, with its pale Connecticut wrapper, is the historic Davidoff, mild and creamy: the Exquisitos and the Primeros play the part the Panetelas plays at Cohiba, the low-priced way in; the Double R, a fat vitola of 19 centimetres, is its summit at 600 DH. The Grand Cru line reads backwards: the No. 5 is the smallest and the cheapest, the No. 2 the largest. The Millennium and Nicaragua lines bring the body the classics lack, without going beyond 455 DH. One detail amuses attentive readers of the list: the Primeros Nicaragua is approved there under the spelling “Dadidoff”.
Winston Churchill: the boxed line
The line dedicated to the British Prime Minister, a loyal customer of Zino Davidoff, is not sold per stick in Morocco: by case of 4 or 5, or by box of 20.
| Vitola | Case | Box of 20 | Per stick |
|---|---|---|---|
| Petit Corona | 1,125 DH (5) | 4,500 DH | 225 DH |
| Belicoso Late Hour | 796 DH (4) | — | 199 DH |
| Petit Panetela Late Hour | 1,000 DH (5) | — | 200 DH |
| Robusto | 1,480 DH (4) | 7,400 DH | 370 DH |
| Robusto Late Hour | 1,640 DH (4) | 8,200 DH | 410 DH |
| Churchill | 1,640 DH (4) | 8,200 DH | 410 DH |
| Toro | 1,640 DH (4) | 8,200 DH | 410 DH |
| Churchill Late Hour | 1,820 DH (4) | 9,100 DH | 455 DH |
| Toro Late Hour | 1,820 DH (4) | 9,100 DH | 455 DH |
The price per cigar, which we work out here, is the same in the case as in the box: no point buying twenty vitolas to “get a deal”, the list provides none. The Late Hour series, aged in single malt whisky casks, costs 40 to 50 DH more per cigar than the classic version. The case of 4 is the gift format par excellence, and our guide to gifts for cigar lovers gives it a place.
Nicaragua, Yamasá, Escurio, Dominicana: the boxed lines
The house’s terroir ranges follow the same logic, with a price per cigar that the list does not state and which we give here:
| Line and vitola | Case | Box | Per stick |
|---|---|---|---|
| Nicaragua Box Pressed Robusto | 1,140 DH (4) | 3,420 DH (12) | 285 DH |
| Nicaragua Box Pressed Toro | 1,440 DH (4) | 4,320 DH (12) | 360 DH |
| Nicaragua Diadema | 1,860 DH (4) | — | 465 DH |
| Yamasá Petit Churchill | 980 DH (4) | 3,430 DH (14) | 245 DH |
| Yamasá Robusto | 1,440 DH (4) | 4,320 DH (12) | 360 DH |
| Yamasá Toro | 1,620 DH (4) | 4,860 DH (12) | 405 DH |
| Yamasá Piramides | 1,716 DH (4) | 5,148 DH (12) | 429 DH |
| Escurio Primeros | 1,014 DH (6) | — | 169 DH |
| Escurio Petit Robusto | — | 2,870 DH (14) | 205 DH |
| Escurio Corona Gorda | — | 3,540 DH (12) | 295 DH |
| Escurio Robusto (tube) | — | 4,020 DH (12) | 335 DH |
| Escurio Gran Toro | — | 4,152 DH (12) | 346 DH |
| Dominicana Short Robusto | — | 3,250 DH (10) | 325 DH |
| Dominicana Robusto | — | 3,850 DH (10) | 385 DH |
| Dominicana Toro | — | 4,000 DH (10) | 400 DH |
| Puro d’Oro Dominicana Short Robusto | — | 3,348 DH (12) | 279 DH |
| Puro d’Oro Dominicana Corona Larga | — | 4,308 DH (12) | 359 DH |
Yamasá, named after a Dominican region long deemed unfit for tobacco, is the house’s darkest and earthiest line; Escurio, a Brazilian recipe with sweet and peppery notes; Nicaragua, the fullest-bodied. All three sit between 245 and 465 DH per cigar, the price of a Siglo II or III at Cohiba. Two assortment boxes let you taste without choosing: the Robusto Collection at 1,999 DH for 5, the Figurado Selection at 2,830 DH for 6.
The editions: Year of the…, Oro Blanco, Royal Release
This is where Davidoff outstrips the entire list, Behike included:
| Edition | Box | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Signature No. 1 LE 2023 | 10 | 5,000 DH |
| Discovery LE 2022 | 12 | 5,400 DH |
| Millennium Lancero LE 2023 | 10 | 6,000 DH |
| Chefs Edition 2021 / 2025 | 10 | 6,450 / 7,990 DH |
| Winston Churchill LE 2025 | 10 | 7,250 DH |
| Year of the Tiger / Rabbit / Snake / Dragon | 10 | 7,600 / 8,000 / 8,250 / 8,490 DH |
| Year of the Horse 2026 | 10 | 9,390 DH |
| Aniversario No. 1 LE 2023 | 10 | 9,990 DH |
| Oro Blanco | 1 | 8,249 DH |
| Royal Release Robusto | 10 | 15,000 DH |
| Royal Release Salomones | 10 | 17,800 DH |
The Year of the… releases, Lunar New Year editions, are approved year after year: five vintages coexist on the list, from the Tiger 2022 to the Horse 2026, and the older ones do not come down. The Oro Blanco is the only cigar on the whole Moroccan tariff sold per stick above 8,000 DH; the Royal Release Salomones, at 1,780 DH a vitola, the most expensive of all by the box. At this level, call before you make the trip: these boxes are ordered more often than they are found.
Starting Davidoff at 16 DH
The house also has its small format, and it is the cheapest way in:
| Reference | Packet | Price | Apiece |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mini Cigarillos Gold | 10 | 160 DH | 16 DH |
| Escurio Mini Cigarillos | 20 | 369 DH | 18.45 DH |
| Mini Cigarillos Silver | 20 | 560 DH | 28 DH |
| Club Cigarillos (tin) | 10 | 390 DH | 39 DH |
| Demi Tasse | 10 | 550 DH | 55 DH |
| Zino Mini Cigarillos (Nicaragua or Dominican) | 20 | 360 DH | 18 DH |
The Mini Gold at 16 DH costs exactly as much as the Cohiba Mini, for a milder Dominican tobacco; the Demi Tasse at 55 DH is the most expensive cigarillo on the list, a real little twenty-minute cigar. The Club, for its part, is the Davidoff reference hardest hit by the April wave: +22%. Our guide to cigarillos explains what the format offers, and what it does not replace.
Camacho, Zino, Avo: the rest of the channel
Davidoff’s distributor in Morocco, NATC (Société Nouvelle d’Articles de Tabac et Consommation), brings the group’s other brands along with it, all sold by the box or the pouch.
Camacho, the Honduran brand with the bold temperament, runs from 2,600 DH for a box of 20 Nicaragua Robusto to 5,200 DH for 20 ABA Gordo. The core of the range sits at 3,000 DH per 20 (Connecticut, Broadleaf, Criollo Robusto), or 150 DH per cigar, and a Fresh Pack of 4 Connecticut at 600 DH lets you taste without committing to a box. Toro at 3,300 DH, Gordo at 4,000 DH, ABA and NBA series from 4,100 to 5,200 DH.
Zino Nicaragua, the group’s young line, is sold in pouches of 4 at 560–600 DH (Gordo, Short Torpedo, Robusto, Toro: 150 DH apiece), as Half Corona at 575 DH for 5, and in boxes of 25 at 3,500–3,750 DH; the Short Puritos come to 25 DH apiece, 250 DH for 10.
Avo, the Dominican brand of the musician Avo Uvezian, brings up the rear with the Sync Robusto in tubes at 3,300 DH for 20 and two limited-edition Improvisations at 6,160 and 6,600 DH.
Where to find them in Morocco
In the official shops and at approved resellers, alongside the Havanas, and in the humidors of the palace hotels of Marrakech, Casablanca and Rabat. The everyday range, Exquisitos, Primeros, Grand Cru, Millennium, Winston Churchill in cases, is found without difficulty; the terroir lines and the editions are asked for at the counter. Our guide to where to buy covers the channel city by city, and our guide to the brands available sets Davidoff against the Cubans.
The administered list remains your best guarantee: at the official price, at the official counter. There is no legal online sale of cigars in Morocco, and a Winston Churchill Robusto “on offer” at half its 370 DH does not come from the channel. An opened box, finally, keeps: our guides to choosing a humidor and to storing cigars in a dry climate stop a purchase of this price from drying out.
Frequently asked questions

- From 69 DH to 600 DH per stick for the 23 cigars sold individually, at the list in force since 1 April 2026: Exquisitos 69 DH, Primeros 95 DH, Grand Cru No. 5 200 DH, 2000 240 DH, Millennium Robusto 360 DH, Special R 370 DH, Aniversario No. 3 475 DH, Double R 600 DH. - Which Davidoff should you start with?
- A small, mild vitola: the Exquisitos at 69 DH or the Primeros at 95 DH, two short formats from the Dominican range, then the Grand Cru No. 5 at 200 DH, the house's classic initiation cigar. The Nicaragua Short Corona at 205 DH offers a little more body without being harsh. For a first contact at lower cost, the Mini Cigarillos Gold comes to 16 DH apiece. The Double R at 600 DH and the Winston Churchills can wait until the gestures are second nature.
- How much does a box of Davidoff Winston Churchill cost in Morocco?
- The box of 20 is approved at 4,500 DH for the Petit Corona, 7,400 DH for the Robusto, 8,200 DH for the Churchill and the Toro, and 8,200 to 9,100 DH for the Late Hours. The case of 4 exists for almost every vitola: 1,480 DH for the Robusto, 1,640 DH for the Churchill or the Toro, 1,820 DH for the Late Hour Churchill, the same price per cigar as the box. A rise of 2 to 4% affected the whole line on 1 April 2026.
- Davidoff or Cohiba: which is more expensive in Morocco?
- Cohiba, by a clear margin, on cigars sold per stick: a Cohiba Robustos costs 800 DH against 360 DH for a Davidoff Millennium Robusto, and the Behike line peaks at 2,800 DH where the most expensive Davidoff sold individually, the Double R, stops at 600 DH. Davidoff takes the lead on the editions: Oro Blanco at 8,249 DH per stick, Royal Release Salomones at 17,800 DH for ten. And the April 2026 wave raised 40 Davidoff references while Cohiba did not move.
